Story Works 

​

The sister shop to Story Coffee. 

 

Story Works took inspiration from our FoldEd furniture collection. A custom bar with textured folded panelling with a Scottish Elm top. 

​

This theme of textured pine and elm was used throughout the interior, along with a herringbone floor, one legged TipToe's and a handful of our BoltUp stools.

Kitchen in a table

​

A 10m long Kitchen table with an entire kitchen concealed within it. The table features our signature waterfall ends. One end is for sitting and entertaining while the other contains all of the appliances and storage.

​

The table was handcrafted from an entire French oak tree, with hand veneered drawer fronts and custom carcass work. 

 

This project was delivered to a Spanish Farm House.

​

Ted worked alongside Pritzker prize winning studio, RCR Architects.

16th Century Barn

​

Working alongside the architects (404 Design) we produced a variety of furniture and architectural joinery for this 16th Century Barn. This includes a floating staircase with profiled treads that are counter levered from within the wall. 

 

We also made a pair of charred Oak bookcases with a revealed edge detail, and a wooden plinth for an Italian leather sofa. We even made the front door handles - all pieces were made in Oak, but with a variety of different finishes used to highlight grain, texture and pattern.

Etsy UK Offices

​

We supplied all of the furniture for the communal and break out spaces including 12 TipToe benches and six TipToe dining tables. 

​

We also supplied custom coffee tables for the library, along with a stack of display boxes for a showcase of Etsy sellers products. All furniture was made in English Oak.

Story Coffee

​

Story Coffee is an independent coffee shop in Clapham. The entire interior from the floor up was designed and made by TedWood. We designed a custom counter clad in end grain hexagon tiles and the floor and wall panelling was made in birch plywood. 

 

We created custom one legged TipToe breakfast bars, alongside our popular BoltUp Stools and TipToe Benches which were all in English Elm.
